Six miles of washboard from the North Fork Road, no cell service, and a red building with a wood floor that has been selling baked goods since 1914. Order the huckleberry bear claw, and order a second one for later because they sell out by mid-morning in summer and there is no second chance. Cash moves faster than card. The saloon next door does a good burger. Fill your fuel tank in Columbia Falls before you come; there is no gas out here and the road punishes anyone who assumed otherwise.
