Avalanche Lake

Start on the Trail of the Cedars boardwalk, then climb gently beside Avalanche Gorge to the lake. It is popular for good reason and the parking area fills early. In spring and early summer the headwall runs with meltwater and you can count a dozen waterfalls at once.
