Ansel Adams photographed the Tetons from this pullout in 1942, and the picture is why the pullout exists. The honest part nobody mentions: the cottonwoods have grown eighty years since, so the river he saw is largely hidden now. Stand at the far north end of the lot for the cleanest remaining sightline. Sunrise puts light on the peaks while the valley stays blue, which is the shot worth setting an alarm for. It is directly off Highway 191 with room for a rig.
